Glass Link Gallery for a Health Resort, Grodno

Location: Health resort in Grodno.

Short description

Architectural concept for a wave‑shaped glass gallery linking two buildings of a health resort in Grodno. The lightweight, reflective volume is integrated into the existing ensemble and landscape.

Concept and vision

The gallery is conceived as a transparent belt that softly connects the historic wing with the contemporary block. Its wave profile echoes the terrain and tree line, while staggered glass panels create a rhythmic play of reflections, visually lightening the structure and blending it with the park.

Integration

The geometry is aligned to the axes of existing portals and colonnades, avoiding conflicts with stairs and entrances. Neutral glass and minimal framing ensure a delicate junction with the heritage façade. The connection to the round pavilion is resolved with a clear, transparent node to keep the original volumes legible.

Function and comfort

Raised on slender columns, the gallery preserves ground‑level paths and views, forming shaded passages for rest. The enclosed route offers all‑weather comfort; optional night lighting within the stringers improves safe navigation without polluting the courtyard.

Role and deliverables

Lead Architect/Designer: development of the visual concept of the gallery and preparation of presentation visuals for the client.
